ittle Stream Bakery hand crafts each loaf of its naturally
leavened (no yeast added), stone
ground flour bread using only organically grown grains. The loaves are then baked to
perfection in a wood fired oven. Taste the difference that integrity and commitment to
quality can bring!
At Little Stream we take bread's reputation as the staff of life seriously. We bake simply;
most of our breads contain only whole grains, deep well water & unrefined sea salt with the
occasional addition of seeds.
Little Stream Bakery is located in the Upper Ottawa Valley on transitional land at the
of the Canadian Shield. We are a small business with environmental integrity and pride
ourselves in hand crafting each loaf. With our expansion and relocation to a renovated
dairy in the hamlet of Glen Tay, near Perth, we are now able to complement our staple line
of breads with a variety of rustic pastries.
Since establishing Little Stream Bakery in 1992, we continue to receive many letters and
phone calls from our customers saying how much they enjoy our bread. Our baked goods
are available in fine natural and fresh food stores and are served in several select
restaurants throughout Eastern Canada and the North East U.S.A.
